It is quite interesting to discover that someone may even receive a Nobel prize but he may nevertheless be treated like somebody who doesn’t really know what he’s talking about. To be precise, it’s actually two Nobel awards and this exceptional researcher studied heart diseases and created “Unified Theory and Therapy for Heart Disease”, his name is Linus Pauling.
Causes of heart attack can be explained really simply. If you imagine that all organs in our body needs energy and they get it through our blood stream, then it is easy to understand what happens when this stream stops, well, this organ stops functioning. Now heart has oxygen and nutrients delivered to it too, heart also needs energy to function and sometimes part of this stream can be blocked by plaque where consequently that part of the heart gets affected too. Now most widespread common solution to these problems is angioplasty or bypass surgery but can we change our habits or lifestyle in order to preserve or improve our health? Of course we can, everywhere we can read about how vegetables and fruits are considered healthy so that’s one way to look at it. Is there anything we can do along these solutions?
Linus Pauling concluded that some substances will prevent and may even dissolve existing plaque built inside our arteries. Another interesting point in this revelation is that these substances are thought to be harmless and are present within our everyday diet. You probably have never heard about this in the papers or on television but there it is.
If I’m thinking would I ever go under a knife I would always choose anything and everything else first in order to avoid, the dreaded knife, but it is not always possible.
Some sources even think that cholesterol is not the biggest enemy of the heart muscle even though you’ve probably heard it to be so.
What if there are some nutrients in our everyday diet, as Nobel prize winner Linus Pauling concluded, that can help our arteries and heart to preserve or even improve their condition? What if he studied and researched the functioning of the arteries and heart and found the essence of the most common problem? What if he was right?
Some ingredients in our food can be harmful to some people, it’s nothing new, like allergic reactions for example but Linus found a nutrient which should perform as expected within specified environment, that is on the positive side of things.
The results of this research indicate that the plaque or blockages create around injuries in the arteries.
Now, injuries are formed mostly on places where physical stress on the artery is present and this is where we come to the thesis that certain substances called Lipoprotein(a) inhibitors should prevent and may even dissolve plaque that is present in the arteries. If the plaque is mostly made of this LP(a) LDL cholesterol and considering that this substance can and will attract even more LP(a), solution has been searched in this manner. Next, what if there are some substances that can be attracted to this sticky stuff and dissolve it?
Linus Pauling concluded that lysine, with the help of vitamin C can help the artery. This is just basics of his research but there is much more to it, this explanation is just simplified to be easily understandable. This article shows that with some quality research in to the source of some problems it is possible to understand the inner workings and see where to find solutions. He is certainly not the only one who spent his energy into finding a solution to this common problem of a modern age. Some other researchers have found and released their equally fascinating solutions to this number One killer, the heart attack.
It is my opinion that independent researchers and their results should be made available to everybody and that’s in part what helps this world grow. But also, results of such researchers and methods they used is “as is” and any usage of such methods is the sole responsibility of the person who decides to use it.
